Wei Xin graduated with a First Class Honours from the University of Reading. She completed her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2021 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2022.

Wei Xin’s areas of practice include construction disputes wherein she represents clients in various forums of dispute, including adjudication, arbitration and court.


  • Acting for a specialist subcontractor in an arbitration dispute involving a claim in excess of RM 120 million utilizing a PAM Conditions of Sub-Contract 2006.

  • Acting for a subcontractor in a RM 50 million arbitration dispute against their main contractor for a project in Malacca.

  • Acting for a subcontractor in an arbitration dispute against the Government of Malaysia involving the construction of roads in Perlis.

  • Acting for a main contractor in adjudication and arbitration proceedings against a public-listed subcontractor.

  • Acting for a subcontractor in an arbitration dispute against the main contractor involving a mixed development project.

  • Acted in setting aside and enforcement of arbitration award proceedings.

  • Acted in several adjudication proceedings.

  • Acted in disputes involving sales of goods and/or services.
